UX Designer PROJECT: These individuals will work on Star UM and Seamless Digital initiatives. TOP REQUIREMENTS: • Comfortable working independently on projects as the sole UX resource on a scrum team. • Good communication skills and have experience presenting and collaborating with key stakeholders and subject matter experts. • Has experience working in all areas of the UX design process (business goal and requirement research gathering, usability testing, personas, user journey flows, site structures, wireframes, and documenting development specifications) Primary Responsibilities: • Design user experiences that enhance existing digital products (e.g., web portals, mobile applications) or envision new o redesigned digital products. • Research, analyze, and interpret a variety of inputs to conceive and document the desired user experience. • Effectively represent the voice of the user to influence and improve design decisions. • Create user personas, process flows, interactive prototypes, wireframes, site maps, design specifications, and other UX artifacts. • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary UX team that includes visual designers, content specialists, and front-end developers during ideation, design and development. • Consult with the cross-functional team throughout development, testing, and rollout to ensure designs are understood, implemented, and communicated appropriately. • Monitor industry, technology, and competitive trends to continually identify opportunities for applying improvements. • Contribute to internal innovation projects related to user experience. • Conduct primary research via user interviews, focus groups, and contextual analysis to generate actionable insights for user experience designs. • Assist in designing usability tests, drafting test scripts, and performing test moderation. • Effectively communicate research findings to design teams and stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required in human-computer interaction, visual/interaction design, or related field. • 3+ years of experience designing digital products following user-centered design principles. • Ability to adapt user-centered and visual designs to stakeholder requirements and technical constraints. • 1+ years of experience designing for mobile applications and/or responsive web. • Experience with various UX research methods, including group facilitation, user interviews, heuristic evaluations, task analysis, usability testing, and card sorting. • Good communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to sell ideas through active listening and negotiation. • Ability to work autonomously and manage time effectively. • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and business partners. • Basic Knowledge with design tools (e.g., Axure, Sketch, Invision, Visio, Omnigraffle, Adobe Creative Suite) • A portfolio of past UX projects (e.g., task flows, site maps, wireframes, interactive prototypes, research plans)
