The Telehealth Outpatient therapist will assess needs and strengths, develop treatment plans and provide crisis intervention, diagnostic evaluation, and treatment services utilizing a variety of treatment styles such as individual, couple, family and group psychotherapy. The ideal candidate will be able to establish effective working relationships with clients and utilize solution-based interventions that best address specific problem areas identified in the client’s treatment plan.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Develop an individualized treatment plan based on needs identified in assessment and complete treatment plan reviews with the client and parent/caregiver; Implement focused treatment plans that identify measurable goals and time frames for completion
  • Utilize evidence-based interventions to provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions in accordance with the treatment plan
  • Provide family counseling and educational sessions to parents, siblings, community providers, school staff, etc. regarding understanding of the mental health diagnosis, symptom management and interventions
  • Engage in case consultation with community providers as needed: Assess, evaluate, and discuss progress, updates, and interventions in the treatment plan as needed
  • Actively participate in supervision, and attend regularly scheduled group supervision and team meetings as needed
  • Enter all documentation and billing requirements into the electronic medical record within established deadlines
  • Develop a comprehensive discharge plan for client that assures their ongoing treatment needs are met after discharge

 

 

Required Experience

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field
  • LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT license in the state of Massachusetts
  • Two years minimum experience working with children, youth and families providing direct treatment services
  • Previous outpatient experience strongly preferred
  • Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders or children with Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Candidates who can speak Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin, or Cantonese are a plus!
