CNA for NHC HomeCare Franklin - Full Time with benefits!

Now is your time to work as a CNA in patient's homes in the Franklin, TN area.  This position is responsible for providing personal care for the patient in the home under the direction, instruction and supervision of the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

• Completion of the ninth grade in school
• Successful completion of a CNA training program
• Successful completion of the written and on-site HomeCare Aide Competency Evaluation prior to performing patient care independently.

Responsibilities:

• Provides personal care for the patient which may include bathing, oral hygiene, care of the skin, hair and dressing
• Assists with toileting
• Assists with transfers, ambulation and repositioning including the use of equipment when needed
• Dressing changes which do not require the skills of a licensed nurse
• Assists with medications which are ordinarily self-administered and do not require the skills of a licensed nurse to be provided safely and effectively.
• Assists with prescribed exercises after adequate instruction and supervision has been given by appropriate professional personnel 
• Other duties as assigned by the Registered Nurse
