Job Summary: Under minimal supervision, performs routine to complex electroencephalograms (EEGs) used to monitor and record brain activity. Assists in complex Neurodiagnostic exams requested by a physician, to assist care providers in evaluating and treating epilepsy and seizure disorders. All activities associated with exams are completed in accordance with department protocols and The Neurodiagnostic Society (ASET) national standards. • Routine EEGs • Continuous inpatient EEGs • Ambulatory outpatient EEGs • Live time monitoring of patients for seizures • Wada tests • SPECT seizure imaging Qualifications * Associates degree preferred * Minimum two (2) years clinical EEG experience * R.EEG.T Registered technologists preferred; will consider unregistered tech if eligible for completion of ABRET registry exam within 6 months of hire.
