Job Description

This position is responsible for the in-depth follow up of unpaid or denied life insurance claims. The Claims Analyst will interact with applicable attorneys, beneficiaries and funeral homes with the ultimate goal of liquidating claims in a timely manner.
Job Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
-Provide a working knowledge in the area of life insurance.
-Review and code incoming documentation.
-Troubleshoot specific accounts, as needed.
-Research claim information on-line and enter new data into existing claim system with 100% accuracy.
-Respond to all inquiries from customers in a timely manner.
-Converse with the variety of customers in the utmost professional manner, even in tense situations.
-Assist with special projects as needed.
-Make a commitment to continously increase customer satisfaction.

**The Claims Analyst position requires a high level of attention to detail, organizational skills and comfort with multi-tasking.
**The successful candidate will demonstate excellent telphone and communication skills, confidentiality and strong computer skills.
**Must be goal driven and possess the ability to meet deadlines and determine priorities.
**Healthcare billing and medical terminology experience preferred.
