Maintenance Mechanic - Full-time / Part-time

  Maintenance Multi-Craft Mechanic

Roger Wood Foods is the #1 smoke sausage manufacturing company in the Southeast. We are currently hiring experienced  maintenance mechanics. This position is responsible for repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand-tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments.

Maintenance Worker Responsibilities:
• Conducting routine inspections of premises and equipment.
•Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
• Trouble shooting ability and repair skills to work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical system.
• Keeping spaces, structures and infrastructure in proper operating condition.
• May be designated according to machine repaired as Carton-Forming-Machine Adjuster; Maintenance Mechanic, Record Processing Equipment, etc
•Perform all necessary duties to ensure RWF continued to produce a safe & quality product set forth by Supervision.
• Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools

Maintenance Worker Requirements:
• Ability to work in a cold environment all day.
• GED or high school diploma.
• Must be trained in SQF 6.6 – Maintenance Program and Maintenance Equipment Schedule.
• Multi-task-have the ability to do more than one task at a time
• 5 years experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment

•Welding and basic fabrication skills are required..
