Permanent Staff L&D position

Facility Notes: The Perinatal Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care responsibilities to identified age specific groups, utilizing the nursing process (assessing, planning, implementing and evaluation) in achieving the goals of the nursing department. The RN models the philosophy and Mission Statement of Plumas District Hospital. The RN provides quality customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all and adheres to all rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. -The Perinatal RN demonstrates competence in the assessment and identification of the needs of the childbearing family and appropriately communicates and functions within a multidisciplinary team. During periods of low census, is able to work in other areas as needed after appropriate orientation.--Required Education|  A graduate of an accredited school of nursing with current RN License. Current BLS certification for health care provider. Current STABLE, ACLS and PALS certification. -
Recent Experience: Must have at least 1 year of recent experience in same or similar department
