Salary: $19.00 to $24.00 hour
Responsibilities and Duties
Driver will perform pre-post Trip inspection on assigned vehicles; ensuring safe operating conditions according to State & Federal Laws
Driver will ensure vehicle's safety; tires, brakes, windshield wipers, lights, oil, fuel, water, water, fire extinguisher, windows, locks
Driver will report immediately any bus malfunctions or needed repairs
Driver will report any delays, accidents, or other traffic and transportation situations
Driver will comply with safety rules while transporting passengers, boarding & exiting bus
Driver will properly secure wheelchair straps, car seats, and seat belts, if applicable
Driver will pick up and drop off passengers at regularly scheduled neighborhood locations, following strict time schedules if applicable
Driver will read maps, and follow written and verbal geographic and GPS programming directions
Driver will keep bus interiors clean for passengers
Driver will maintain order among passengers during events or activities, in order to ensure safety
Driver will make minor repairs to vehicles
Driver will prepare and submit reports that may include the number of passengers or trips, hours worked, mileage, fuel consumption, and/or fares received
