If you're looking for a dynamic company with a great work culture, benefits, and a remarkable reputation then you've definitely come to the right place!What You Will Be Doing Mortgage Loan Originators are responsible for soliciting and procuring new residential mortgage business, maintaining contact with their existing customer database, developing a reliable network of referral sources, and assisting the customer and the Underwriting, Processing, and Closing departments of the Company through each loan transaction. Mortgage Loan Originators help their clients choose the best loan for their needs by being knowledgeable about all our product offerings, as well as having a working understanding of underwriting guidelines. They are licensed by state and federal authorities and keep this accreditation through continuing education. Solicit new and former mortgage customers for referrals and loans (Borrowers). Originate loans in accordance with Company policies and procedures. Advise customers on product options. Assist loan processors and underwriters by obtaining complete, accurate documents from borrowers. Lock loan rates and schedule loan closings. Collect or assist in collecting all monies due and owing to GSF as a result of each loan transaction. Perform any other or additional duties that are assigned by GSF from time to time or that are contained in the Loan Originator Employment and Compensation Agreement. Assist with any post-closing information or documentation required for loan sale and/or servicing. Mastery of all current applicable software products, including but not limited to loan operating systems (LOS) for forward and reverse mortgages, CRM, and current pricing engine; detailed knowledge of our loan products; thorough knowledge of policies and procedures as they relate to marketing, procuring and closing mortgage loans. Maintain positive contribution to branch revenue stream by meeting minimum production standard as established in their latest signed Compensation AgreementWhat's In It for You We never rest on our laurels.
