Automation Sales Rep

Position Summary
The Automation Sales Rep is responsible for establishing a customer base with significant key account relations and robot system integrator as clients for 3D robotic vision systems in the United States. This individual will manage and develop current and prospective customer relations.

Position Responsibilities
  • Establish proactive sales activities in the US
  • Responsible for the complete sales-process from the creation of proposals (with technical requirements) to the conclusion of contracts
  • Ongoing market research and competitive analysis for the 3D robot vision market
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending training
  • Review professional publications 

Minimum Requirements
  • Engineering University Degree or similar, ideally combined with a commercial degree
  • 3-5 years sales experience in a comparable industry with successful sales track-record
  • Broad market experience and network in Industrial Automation, General Industry or Automotive Manufacturing with experience in robotics and machine vision 
  • Familiar with the acquisition and realization of technologically complex, innovative projects with experience in developing and implementing innovative product solutions
  • Experience in dealing with multi-national customers
  • Solution oriented with an entrepreneurial spirit, strategic and visionary working style 
  • Sales character with strong sales mentality and customer orientation
  • Persuasiveness and high degree of assertiveness 
  • High degree of personal responsibility, self-driving and hands-on
  • Fluent in English
  • Mobility and willingness to travel (75%)
  • MS-Office, Power Point, Excel, CRM
