Part Time RN for ASC

 Ophthalmology practice located in Sandy Springs that specializes in refractive surgery including, Lasik, Cataract IOL, ICL, etc. They have an in-house Clinic and Optical department as well as there surgery center

Pre-op/Post-op/OR Circulating Nurse --Part time RN needed Tue, Wed, and Thurs. ALthough days may change based on patient schedule. Need to be available between the hours of 7:30-5:00 depending on the patient load. 

Job Duties will include Pre-op/Post-op/OR Circulating Nurse (RN). They MUST have surgery center experience. BLS and ACLS required

Minimum Background Requirements:

• Current operating room experience of one year is preferred. 
• Thorough knowledge of sterile technique as it applies to operating room nursing.
• Knowledge of safe and correct positioning of patients for various procedures.
• Thorough knowledge of general nursing theory and practices.
• Familiarity with organization and functions of all policies, regulations and procedures
• Laser and Lens Implant Center as they relate to nursing service.
• Ability to adapt self to various types of personalities.
• Ability to work cooperatively with all members of the operating team.
• Ability to relate to patients in a very short time and secure their confidence for the operating team.
• Ability to anticipate needs of the operating team before such needs arise.
