Goodwill is currently looking for a Warehouse Assistant/Donation Clerk to join our Cascade team.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Provide excellent service to our donors and customers, complete required written and electronic forms, and execute all material handling duties and sort materials as needed. The Warehouse Assistant/Donation Clerk is paid $10.25 per hour.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
·Perform material handling functions including loading and unloading trucks, receiving, handling of special disposal items and accurately sorting donations
·Safely operate all backroom equipment, including stacker and pallet jack
·Provide excellent service to our donors and customers.
·Follow all Goodwill safety policies.
·Maintain orderliness and cleanliness of the donation area, backroom, and store.
·Ability to plan ahead and stay focused in a fast-paced environment.
·Use basic computer skills, including book scanning and Good Rewards Program.
·Accurately record all donors.
·Assist donors with the unloading of donations; handle donations carefully and with respect.
·Effectively communicate with customers and donors, focusing on superb customer service and professionalism.
·Often required to stand, walk, use hands, reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and occasionally required to sit, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
·Must regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds or more.
·Specific vision abilities required by the job include distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
·Well-developed sense of responsibility and coping ability.
 
QUALIFICATIONS/BASIC JOB REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. This position requires the ability to operate a pallet jack and double-stacker.
