Apparel Production Manager

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Domestic Responsibilities: Execute all domestic production from start to completion. Domestic production includes vendors who can turnaround projects within 2-3 weeks and does not involve international freight/communication.

• Check mock-up
• Check Artwork provided
• Match Pantones with Photoshop and Pantone Book
• Check provided neck labels
• Assigning SKU to UPC code
• Create Barcodes
• Create DPL
• Create incoming Transfer Receipts for Warehouse
• Create shipping labels/ to ship samples to client/EF HQ
• Communicating with Account Managers throughout the entire process
• Ensuring all items have arrived at the warehouse post-production
• Project close out

Chinese/International Manufacturing Responsibilities: Execute all international production from start to completion. International production includes vendors who can turnaround projects within 3-6 weeks and involves international freight/communication. Must be available to speak with vendors in different time zones if required, as we have our manufacturing in China.

Research and Development

• Research types of fabric, stitching, techniques, and manufacturing available from each vendor, building a reference catalogue
• Finding manufacturers that can do things domestic vs international
• Minimizing production time necessary for project turnarounds
• Finding new vendors with the best quality of work/pricing
• Meeting with account managers and customer service reps - Weekly
• Creating Various charts to streamline production/sales/customer service for Size Charts for Pricing Sheets Domestic/International

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• Desired software: Basecamp, Printavo, Asana. Dropbox, Ship Hero, Shopify.
• Required software: Illustrator and all MS Office Suite Products.
• Must have 2-3 years of matching experience.
• Ability to design tech packs.
• Working with international vendors.
