Job Summary

• Order Selectors are responsible for accurately selecting and palletizing cases of grocery product for shipment to our retail stores. This job is extremely physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift cases weighing up to 75 lbs. continuously throughout the day.

Essential Job Functions

• An Order Selector physically lifts cases from floor slots and 2nd level pick slots.
• Builds pallets of grocery products to be shipped to our retail stores.
• Operates an electric Barrett Tug to transport loaded pallets.

Required Education and Experience

• Be 18 yrs old
• Be able to work in either the grocery dry warehouse or freezer warehouse (-20 degrees below zero)
• Be able to work day shift or swing shift hours
• Be able and willing to work OT, weekends and holidays

Physical Demands

• Physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• This is largely a role that requires 6+ hours of walking, repetitive use of hands, simple grasping (right and left hand), Pushing and pulling (right and left hand), and reaching below shoulder level.
• 3-6 hours of standing, bending, twisting, power grasping (right and left hand), and reaching above shoulder level.
• Up to 3 hours of squatting, climbing, fine manipulation (right and left hand).

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• This is a full-time non-exempt position
• Swing Shift- 2:00 – 10:30 PM
• Warehouse operates 364 days out of the year
