Report to the Director of Cardiology, the Echo Vascular Sonographer is responsible for performing echocardiogram studies on neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, to include, but not limited to Transesophageal Echocardiograms, Stress Echocardiograms, Extracranial Cerebrovascular Ultrasound Imaging, arterial studies and venous reflux for physician interpretation.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified with the Registry of Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) and registered Vascular Sonographer (RDVS); if not currently registered, must be registered within 6 months of hire.
- BLS
- 3+ years of experience as an Echocardiograph Sonographer in all modalities of Echo/Vascular (in-patient testing for neonate, pediatrics, adolescent), adult and geriatric patients.
- 3+ years working as a full-time Echocardiograph/ vascular, Sonographer performing neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric echocardiograms, completion of a formal ECHO Cardiographic or an accredited Ultrasound program.
