Job Description
Be a high-energy, dependable and productive member of the JDog team performing daily operations for junk removal services within clearly defined geographical areas. Safely operate and perform preventative maintenance programs for junk removal vehicles and trailers. Assist General Manager in sales, marketing and development of JDog Junk Removal & Hauling brand.
Requirements:
- Provide exceptional service with a great attitude and enjoy working with people and helping others
- Have a sense of duty and responsibility and willing to live by JDog’s military core values, “Respect, Integrity and Trust”
- Portray a neat military-type appearance
- Help ensure proper permitting and disposal practices in compliance with all local regulations
- Be active in participating in marketing activities
- Adherence to company policies (i.e. incident reports, submit to background check and drug screening, HR policies related to safety and compliance)
Job Duties and Responsibilities (no experience needed, training will be done to JDog Standards):
- Responsible for all on-site operations and direction of all JDog crew members
- Lead your own day’s sales and operations without on-site management
- Willing to help crew with lifting and removal of junk from business, residences and government locations
- Truck and trailer operations including safety, courteous, and situational awareness around all operations
- Responsible for all truck operations on all jobs
- Have the ability to interact with customers making them feel safe and comfortable by aligning with JDog’s military core values, “Respect, Integrity and Trust”
- Onsite selling, job estimates and customer care
- Brand building
- Servitude to the community and willingness to help others
Skills and Qualifications:
- Military Veteran (honorably discharged) or like-minded individual with proven record of excellence in service environments Preferred
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
- Be able to lift 75 pounds; ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours a day; ability to stoop, bend, crouch and crawl
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent and have NO felony convictions
- Leadership/supervisory skills desired
Job Type: Part-time with Full-Time potential
Salary: $15.00 to $18.00/hour
