Quality Inspectors - 2nd/3rd Shifts - Full-time / Part-time

Immediate needs are available for a premier Grand Rapids company seeking associates to perform quality inspection work. Openings are available on 2nd and 3rd shift. Positions may require working 8 hours days but some departments work 12 hour schedules. Must have solid work experience. The work environment is extremely clean.

2nd shift 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and 3rd shift 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Responsibilities Summary:

· Examines material or products for surface flaws and foreign material following SOPs, work instructions and policies

· Notifies necessary team member of issues when product is out of specification or defects identified

· Packages product, prepares for shipping, completes necessary paperwork and labels as requested by the customer

· Must follow guidelines for clean room gowning and PPE

· Keeps accurate time and production records on paper and with basic computer operation

· Performs 5S housekeeping duties, as well as general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean, safe and efficient operation area

Basic Qualifications:

· High school diploma or GED

· Ability to read and write English and clearly communicate with co-workers, and customers when needed

· General math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) and measuring capabilities

· Vision abilities, including color and depth perception

· General problem solving and mechanical ability

· Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs. and stand for up to 8 hours and frequently required to use hands fingers, reach with hands and arms

· Must be able to work 12-hour days as scheduled

· This is a climate-controlled environment

**Steel toed shoes are required for this position.
