Job Description:
SUMMARY
An Assembler works as an effective member of a team to assemble
product in a timely manner according to work instructions, engineering
drawings, and quality guidelines to produce quality products.  This
position requires the ability to complete routine operations on a
continual basis.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.      Perform a specific step of the manufacturing process as part of a
team, according to work instructions, engineering drawings, and
training to produce quality product.
2.      Inspect the quality of the materials and work in process.
3.      Produce product in a timely manner as outlined by department
supervision and management.
4.      Operate any equipment, tools, fixtures, etc. needed to perform the
assigned job.
5.      Clean and sterilize cells and totes.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.      Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as required.

AUTHORITY
1.      Request necessary supplies and resources required to complete the
jobs assigned.
2.      Alert supervision of problems with materials, tools, fixtures,
machinery, etc.
3.      Suggest improved or alternate methods of assembling product.

Job Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
1.      Able to perform routine tasks on a continuing basis.
2.      Able to correctly use required tools, fixtures, machines, etc.
involved in the manufacturing process.
3.      Able to correctly inspect according to instructions, engineering
drawings, and training.
4.      Able to recognize quality problems with materials and work in process.
5.      Able to complete an inspection step in a timely manner as outlined
by department supervision and management.
6.      Good work attendance and dependability.
7.      Able to communicate and work with others as a team.
8.      If working nights or shifts with minimal supervision, must pass a
criminal background check.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily
required to stand.  The employee is regularly required to use hands to
grasp, finger or handle objects and reach with hands and arms. The
employee is frequently required to talk and hear.  The employee must
occasionally lift and/or exert force from 25 up to 75 pounds.  Push
and/or pull up to 300 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by
this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and
color determination.

Additional Information:
Previous experience being in a supervisor or lead role is required and
resume will be needed to provide to the client.

Two shifts are available: Monday - Wednesday and Thursday - Saturday

There is bus access to the site but not coming back. No bus access at
all on Saturdays.

Full-time, Temp to Hire
$15.00/hour
