Customer Service Representative

Martin Fastening Solutions has an immediate opening for a experienced Customer Service Representative with at least 5 years of experience working in Customer Service or Insides Sales in Industrial Distribution or Fastener Sales and a college degree in a related field.

Summary: To provide Inside Sales and Service Support to Customers and Outside Sales Staff, through managing orders, delivery scheduling and coordinating with Purchasing on materials procurement.

Typical Responsibilities

·         Reviewing customer portals and forecasts to ensure material availability

·         Oral and email communications in receiving purchase orders, confirming orders and establishing positive customer relationships

·         Placing purchase orders when needed.

·         Entering Orders and setting up new accounts and new products for existing accounts in S2K Business software.

·         Reviewing customer inventory for usage status, using S2K report formats and Excel.

·         Preparing quarterly business reviews for customers, using Excel and PowerPoint.

·         Preparing orders for the warehouse to be picked and invoicing.
