Job Description
Bell Brothers is seeking energetic and outgoing Warehouse Driver/Window installation Helper for its Mather location. We are interested in a goal oriented individual. Who posses passion for providing excellent customer service to our field employees. Employees who are excited to work and who possess the skills to complete required task in a safe, efficient manner. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF DELIVERY DRIVER/INSTALLATION HELPER:
- Load/unload delivery trucks and vendor shipments
- Safe and appropriate driving of delivery trucks
- Maintaining truck safety and efficient operation and reports any damage to vehicle or customers property
- Provide exceptional customer service ensuring timely deliveries, and call-backs
- Inventory control
- Efficient route planning and execution
- Warehouse maintenance
- Verify correct product loaded for delivery
- Refuel vehicles
- Other duties may be assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have two years of personal driving experience
- Must have no more than one DMV "Point" on driving record initially, may not exceed two DMV points during employment, and must be insurable under the company's current insurance policy
- Must have exceptional follow through to instructions, communication skills and the ability to interact with a wide range of people
- Basic computer knowledge including ability to locate customer homes using online mapping tools or ability to navigate via map books and GPS equipment
- High School diploma or general education degree; or prior experience and or training; or equivalent combination of educations and experience
- Ability to read maps and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals
- Ability to effectively read, speak and communicate in English
- Valid CA Drivers license
- Forklift certification a plus
- Must be able to lift and move 75 pounds
- Experience driving 16'-24' straight box truck preferred
- Must be able to pass drug test (Medical marijuana card is not acceptable), pre-employment physical, background
