Job Description
The Steakhouse Room Chef is responsible for all back of house operations in our fine dining steakhouse including managing kitchen staff and delegating tasks related to meal prep, cooking, and ensuring timely delivery. The Chef is also expected to keep up with industry trends and create new recipes and offerings in collaboration with the Steakhouse Manager. The Room Chef must have the ability to interact with guests in the restaurant in order to get feedback on their dining experience. The Room Chef is also responsible for maintaining relationships with distributors and resolving issues with vendors. The successful candidate must have the ability to understand the room's budget and monitor food and labor costs. Regarding labor, it is the Room Chef's responsibility to schedule staff and ensure adequate staffing levels. The Room Chef is required to uphold standards and provide training on safety and sanitation practices in a kitchen environment. ServSafe certification is required. Alcohol Awareness training card required. Must be 21 or older
