The Refectory seeking Line Cooks + Jr Sous Chef (Villanova, PA)

Our team is passionate about serving amazing food and values providing excellent service. We are seeking experienced Line Cooks and a junior Sous Chef for our restaurant The Refectory (therefectorygrill.com) in Villanova, PA.

We are an upscale American Grill & Wine Bar. Zavino Hospitality Group's newest addition in collaboration with Villanova University and Parliament Cafe.

The ideal candidate has a calm and friendly demeanor and would work well on a team dedicated to our success. Basically, we want someone who can get the job done! A positive and exemplary attitude is key for this role.

Position:

• Line Cook ($13-$16 )
• Junior Sous Chef (commensurate with experience)
  

Experience:

• Minimum 2-3 years previous BOH management experience in a fast pace, scratch kitchen environment
• Must understand basic cooking and food preparation techniques
• Good knife handling skills
• Food safety knowledge (ServSafe preferred)
• Ordering, receiving, + inventory
• Scheduling
• Staff motivation + training
• Ability to manage 5 > people
