IT ERP Administrator III

We are seeking a Business Applications Analyst with a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field of study and at least 6 years of relevant experience. In this challenging, fast-paced environment, you'll have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience to develop various IT systems in order to support the design and creation of the most groundbreaking aerospace and defense technologies - those that exist today and those that will shape tomorrow. What to look forward to: As a Business Applications Analyst, you will be using your skills and expertise to problem solve and architect challenging, new IT solutions. You'll be responsible for planning, analysis, and design of our enhancements, major deployments, upgrades, and user/role based security. Your technical responsibilities include the application of our server based IT system methodologies and concepts.

This position will be responsible for performing the planning, analysis, design, enhancements, major deployments, upgrades, support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and user/role based security maintenance for various ERP systems.

Requires in-depth knowledge of server-based IT systems, Microsoft SQL 2014/2016/2017, and Microsoft Server 2012/2016, as well as the ability to problem solve and architect new solutions. Extensive T-SQL experience is required.

Process knowledge should include ITIL framework and SDLC methodologies.

Must-haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field of study and at least 6+ years of experience
  • A higher level degree may substitute for experience
  • Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
  • In-depth knowledge of server-based IT systems, Microsoft SQL 2014/2016/2017, and Microsoft Server 2012/2016, as well as the ability to problem solve and design new solutions.
  • Extensive T-SQL experience is required.
  • Required attributes for this position include a strong sense of customer/solution ownership, an overall drive for excellence, and a proven ability to manage multiple projects to successful completion
  • Excellent customer service and communications skills along with ability to drive productive team collaboration

Preferred:

  • Experience a Project Accounting ERP system
  • Prefer experience with Deltek software.
  • Minimum experience of at least 1 ERP implementation project with software installation and application configuration.
  • Experience in testing, documenting and configuring ERP functions.
  • In depth understanding of inventory control, work orders, sales orders, material movement, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management & general ledger.
  • Knowledge of inventory costing methods.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and document business and systems requirements for new technology deployments
  • Benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations with supporting data for the improvement and growth of the environment
  • Experience troubleshooting user security or other access problems.
  • Experience in configuration and troubleshooting workflows and approval management systems.
  • Experience with development languages such as Java and C# is a plus
  • Troubleshoot; interpret logs, document steps to reproduce software bugs, process problems or other issues, which create application errors.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the business to implement new enhancements from the analysis to implementation phases, while ensuring that thorough testing occurs.
  • Work with stakeholders to define and document business and systems requirements for new technology deployments
  • Troubleshoot; interpret logs, document steps to reproduce software bugs, process problems or other issues, which create application errors.
  • Support business objectives and ensure alignment with existing and new solutions
  • Work with software vendors to support, diagnose and resolve ERP system issues and bugs.
  • Benchmark, analyze, and make recommendations with supporting data for the improvement and growth of the environment
  • Ability to prioritize competing support requests/incidents, maintain focus on solving the highest priority and highest business affecting issue first.
  • Installation, configuration and maintenance of ERP systems and related applications.
  • Serve as Project Manager when needed by defining project scope, cost and timeline, managing to a deadline, and organizing and negotiating allocation of resources
  • Provide regular updates to direct manager through status updates, staff meetings, and face to face interaction
  • Ensure application documentation is thorough and kept up to date
  • Stay current with the latest technologies
  • Knowledge of general accounting, manufacturing, procurement and engineering procedures/processes
  • Provide on call support as needed
  • Able to work independently on tasks assigned
