Responsibilities of a Retail Service Merchandiser

  • Direct retail and or merchandising experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in retailers like Lowes, Home Depot, Mass Merchants, Club, Grocery, Drug, or Discount stores
  • Able to communicate effectively with management and customers.
  • Complete all project tasks in a timely manner.
  • Maintain, place and build displays of products represented.
  • Stock shelves and reset products to current layout or plan-o-gram.
  • Print labels using store systems and placing labels as needed.
  • Placing point of purchase materials and signage as needed.
  • Able to move and adjust shelving to plan-o-gram requirements.
  • Share product knowledge information with customers and store employees.
  • Use a Smartphone to complete service reports and upload photos during store visit.
  • Completes all required training and certification programs.
  • Engage on scheduled workdays with SRS communication tools for the purpose of planning, reporting, and reviewing work.
  • Provide best in class customer service and develop professional working relationships with store managers, associates, and all SRS team members.
  • Follows company policies, best practices, and position responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must have a valid driver's license - driver's license cannot be revoked or suspended.
  • Must have current auto insurance listing applicants legal name on the auto insurance policy.
  • Must have access to a personal car to transport project materials and travel to retail stores on scheduled workdays.
  • Must have a Smartphone (apple or android) with phone, text, email, and internet access to complete all store visit reports while in a store.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive bending, standing, and walking and be able to push, pull and lift materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be physically able to use and climb rolling staircase/step ladders in retail stores.
  • Must be willing to consent to a background check including motor vehicle report.
