Plastics Mold Operator Job Responsibilities
As a Plastic Injection Mold Operator you will be operating plastic molding machines, checking products for optimal quality, and packaging parts.
Observing machine operation to detect work piece defects or machine malfunctions, adjusting machines as necessary
Operates the injection molding machines for production.
Inspects product to ensure parts comply with customer expectations as indicated by internal Quality Instructions.
Ensures efficient operation of all machines, performing simple production troubleshooting activities, and ensuring adequate material supply at assigned machines.
Packages and labels parts as per work instruction requirements.
Assists in maintenance of equipment, tools, & facility as needed to ensure production is effective.
Operating all assigned equipment safely and efficiently
Verifying accuracy of work (i.e., QA line checks, verification of load-in/load-out accuracy)
Ensuring that work area is clean and safety standards are followed
Plastics Mold Operator Job Requirements
Ability to track and inspect parts in a timely manner
Ability to stand on feet all day
Reliable transportation
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
