Mobile Software Automation Test Lead

We have a direct hire opening for a Mobile Automation Test Engineer with our direct client near Milwaukee, WI. This client will not consider candidates requiring sponsorship for a visa. 

Job Purpose:  

Develop, modify and maintain quality assurance procedures and software or data processes that will ensure that design requirements are satisfied, the solution operates as expected, and the needs of stakeholders are met. 

Essential Job Responsibilities: 

• Develop quality assurance procedures designed to test programs per corporate and client requirements.
• Utilize systems analysis techniques and quality assurance procedures, test new or modified software programs and software development procedures.
• Collect data and use quantitative or statistical analysis techniques and reporting methodologies to interpret results and assess underlying factors for reconciling variations.
• Actively participate in writing, debugging, and altering code.
• Maintain current automation code to support modules, applications or processes in products.
• Actively participate on an agile scrum team, sizing work efforts, decomposing tasks and iteratively delivering software

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or other related field, or equivalent years of related work experience.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in software development or software automation and 4 years of experience with Mobile testing and quality assurance in a technology environment
• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Knowledge of software design and development techniques.
  • Knowledge of software used to collect, manipulate, manage and analyze data.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems.
  • Ability to think of creative solutions to system-based issues.
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and communication styles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming languages (C#)
• 4 + years of mobile testing experience. 
• Software and Automation Architecture experience
• Knowledge and proficiency in:
  • Appium
  • Selenium
  • NUnit
  • Javascript
  • PHP
  • Angular JS
  • Experience in WCF Web API and general Web Service development
  • API Testing
