Overview 

Caribou Thunder has a number of open positions available immediately to support a large Department of Defense contract which will provide continued financial administration support for a confidential government agency.  This meaningful work supports the processes and procedures required to perform acquisitions, financial administration, and human resource services for a critical agency in a Top Secret environment. 

Candidate will be responsible for daily monitoring of changing requirements related to scope changes, funding and budgeting needs. Candidate should possess strong written and verbal communication skills to facilitate coordination across entire program management teams. Candidate should demonstrate capability to manage substantial contractual line item changes to support mission as required. Candidate should be proactive and willing to work both independently and as part of a team both with other CSAs, Finance Team and other PMO colleagues. Candidate must have or rapidly develop a working knowledge of Cognos, WMS and reporting systems. 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

Under guidance of a Contracting Officer (CO), candidate will perform a variety of activities in support of the contracting team. Work entails: period of performance extensions, incremental funding activities, award fee determinations (twice a year), and LOE certifications (once a year). Assistance with funding modifications, contractual requirement changes and budgetary alignment support. Multiple enterprise contracts will require multitasking abilities to maintain a continuum of requirement changes and entry of contractual line item changes. The contract team possesses approximately 30 contract modifications per month. This work is divided among two CSAs.  

Oversee files of core acquisition documentation for the program in coordination, with Contracting Officer's guidance. Develop or maintains a process for keeping soft and hard copy files current, archiving or destroying files when appropriate.  

Support Contracting Officer's close-out actions for multiple enterprise contracts. File reviews to include contract modifications to de-obligate funds, vendor data calls and documentation of award fee determinations. Other post award and contract settlement actions as needed.
