Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide proactive administrative support.
- Facilitate and maintain relationship between the MLO, client, realtor, internal staff, and all other parties to the transaction
- Monitor and advise MLO of upcoming rate lock expiration and assist in obtaining extensions as needed
- Assist in managing MLO pipeline and closing reports to ensure deadlines are met on all loans.
- Assist in mailings, thank you letters and other company marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and update customer contact information.
- Keep MLO current on company/industry information. Including webinars and conference calls.
- Monitor inventory of office supplies and place orders as needed /contact vendor for Copier issues
- Provide computer support and updates by monitoring email inbox while MLO is unavailable.
- Update and distribute sales meeting guides and other tools available to MLOs.
- Monitor websites for accuracy and changes.
- Coordinate continuing education and registration requirements with MLO and compliance.
- Review training needs with MLO and support when needed.
- Order all residential Appraisals- follow orders to assure timely completion-process appraisals- notify MLO and processors upon completion
- Primary contact with Appraisal Firewall- trouble shoot orders - manually assign when necessary
- Maintain and submit appraisal invoices for payment and follow up on all vendor inquiries about outstanding invoices
- Process all Title requests for loans in process- follow up as needed
- Review loan files for completeness prior to submission to processing
- Run weekly and month end reports for Sales team meetings
- Send out agendas and take minutes for all meetings
- Attend closing for MLO officers when necessary
- Liaise with Ann Arbor Board of Realtors as Affiliate member- updating MLO as needed
Requirements:
- Prior mortgage processing experience would be ideal
- Good organization skills
- Customer service oriented
- Experience in the mortgage industry a plus.
- Dependable and motivated
- Knowledge of the Mortgage Industry
- NMLS registration
