General Labor - 1st Shift - Full-time / Part-time

The General Laborer is responsible for safely and efficiently performing general labor duties. Responsibilities may include such things as production clean-up, fueling vehicles and equipment, general vehicle operation, shipping and receiving, general painting and other related duties

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Clean up work areas
* Fuel vehicles and equipment
* Clean equipment
* Perform yard work, including mowing and paper pick up
* Operate general site vehicles and equipment, such as pickup trucks, sweepers, etc.
* Assist Painting area with various tasks

* Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must possess a valid drivers license
• Basic math skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to adapt to work environment and schedule
• Ability to follow through and solve problems as they arise
• Ability to follow company policy and procedures as set forth by the company

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, crouch, bend and reach above shoulders. The employee frequently is required to use hands to manipulate objects, tools or controls; and talk and hear. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be working in the typical conditions of a manufacturing environment including seasonal variation in temperatures. The employee must comply with PPE requirements including but not limited to, safety glasses, hearing protection, appropriate gloves, clothing and shields for required tasks and steel toed safety shoes.
