JOB SUMMARY:
The Accounting clerk will play a vital role within the company by maintaining financial records and assisting with the general operations of the finance department. The accounting clerk will handle a broad spectrum of duties such as accounts payable and receivables, approve time sheets, and manage financial transactions and records. This position will monitor revenue streams, send out invoices and pay financial obligations as they come due. 

RESPONSIBILITES: 
•	Record and pay accounts payable
•	Issue invoices to and collect from customers
•	Calculate pay to employees
•	Resolving payment discrepancies and disputes on behalf of the company
•	Maintain a coherent system of accounts, with a supporting filing system
•	Preparing and emailing invoices to customers
•	Posting payments to customer accounts
•	Organizing and filing deposit receipts as invoices are paid
•	Preparing reports on delinquent accounts and customer payment profiles
•	Reconciling cash receipts and deposits
•	Analyzing financial records for accuracy
•	Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
•	Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
•	Research, track, and resolve accounting problems.
•	Support accounting personnel.
•	Contact individuals with delinquent accounts.
•	Process bills for payment.
•	Open mail and match payments to invoices.



Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:
•	Certification by the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers, which necessitates a degree in accountancy and two years of experience.
•	Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP Accounting) 
•	 Experience with Intuit QuickBooks Online 
•	Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting procedures and principles.
•	Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information.
•	High level of accuracy and efficiency.
•	Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
•	Courteous, professional manner, strong customer service skills.
•	Computer literacy and strong typing skills, experience with accounting software may be required.
•	Attention to detail.
•	Willingness to comply with all company, local, state, and federal financial regulations.
