An Amazing opportunity for three months of in-depth training in Appleton or Oshkosh. * Fulltime training schedule for the first month * Week 1-2 Training- Day Shift * Week 3-4 Training- Evening Shift * After training, hours go to a PRN schedule with availability of 1-2 days/week including weekends/holidays Why Join Ascension? What You Will Do As an Associate with Ascension, you will have the opportunity to provide patients with nursing support by telephone. Responsibilities: * Prepares documentation information and transmits medical information. * Provides non-judgmental triage and/or advice using the nursing process, specific protocols and established resources. * Directs callers to appropriate level of care and provides healthcare advice/education using assessment skills, approved guidelines, and knowledge of self-care practices. * Selects and delivers appropriate follow-up materials. * Provides professional, safe and effective care-related advice to patients. What You Will Need Licenses/Certifications/Registration: * Required Credential(s): * BLS Provider obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. * Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
