LMR has 23 award-winning restaurants throughout North Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Their largest concept is the Carolina Ale House brand (17 locations) in addition to six signature brands: The Oceanic, Bluewater, Henry’s, Hops Supply Company, Taverna Agora, and Vidrio.
LMR, LLC is rooted in hospitality & the community. Its employees have a passion for creating & serving amazing food in warm and welcoming places.

The Expediter functions as the communications link between and among the various food production areas in the kitchen, coordinates production and assembly so servers can deliver meal orders to dining room patrons in a timely manner.
The restaurant expediter ensures quality and proper presentation of food in a timely manner; that food orders are prepared and assembled quickly according to recipes and procedures to avoid waste; and that the line is always stocked, neat, clean and safe.
A successful food expediter has exceptional organization, coordination and communication skills. He/she must call out orders across a line and maintain composure in a loud, hot environment. Because a food expediter may handle customer complaints, strong customer service skills are important.

Requirements

With hours of bending, standing and working in hot conditions, an expediter must be in good physical condition. An expediter is required to have a food handler’s permit or certification from a local health department.
