PrideStaff Financial, a recruiting firm specializing in accounting and financial positions, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Purchasing Clerk!
Duties:
- Maintain the purchasing function, including the bid process and vendor selection
- Vendor relations including negotiation and research to find the best pricing
- Managing inventory to ensure system reorder points eliminate out of stock risk
- Compliance with all departments
- Follow environmental and safety regulations
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of purchasing/accounting experience
- Strong computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheet programs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong math skills including conversions
- Database experience
- Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel
- Positive attitude and work ethic
