Working in collaboration and reporting to the Nurse Manager MedSurg, the Medical Surgical Assistant Nurse Manager will play a vital role in ensuring patient care is up to this hospital’s terrific reputation. Within this unit you will have the opportunity to work alongside a team of MedSurg, Telemetry, Neurology RNs, Nurse Educators, Respiratory Therapists, Advanced Practice and other leaders and support RN Staff.

The Medical Surgical Assistant Nurse Managerwill be responsible for overseeing of this dynamic staff during your respective shift. In addition, you will handle scheduling, understand and collaborate with leaders on budget, and have a strong grasp of clinical nursing activities. You will play an important role in assuring that health and safety of patients. In doing do, your expertise will directly assist staff nurses and physicians in their medical practice.
