Position Title: Employee Health Screener
Status: Temporary/Part-time
Location: Sioux Center
FLSA Status: Hourly – non-exempt (Agricultural)
Pay: $18-25 an hour depending on experience

As part of that responsibility we are currently seeking to add to our team a Health Screener that will focus on our employee’s wellbeing. As COVID19 spreads through our community we are taking the necessary precautions to maintain everyone at our farms as healthy as possible.
We encourage any individual in the medical, hospitality, and ex-military field (CAN, HHA, DCW, Athletic Trainer, and more) for immediate short-term, part-time employment in managing our regional community’s exposure to COVID-19 during the national emergency and/or global pandemic. This is a proactive endeavor in the workplace setting designed to:
- Prevent potential COVID-19 virus spread
- Preserve normal operations within area workplaces
- Alleviate undue strain on our community’s active workforce
Primary Job Functions:
The Health Screener will be responsible of the following:
- Take temperatures of all staff and visitors.
- Screen employees for potential health risks and exposure to COVID-19
- Monitor PPE and medical supplies
- Review travel history and medical history for staff
- Keep records of employee health and travel history
- Must be able to wear a N95 respirator mask
- Maintain and keep confidentiality
Work Environment:
The COVID-19 Screener is required to work on-site designated by the client. The COVID-19 Screener will be working in a potentially high COVID-19 exposure environment with known and unknown associated health risks. Individuals with underlying health conditions who contract COVID-19 have greater risk for morbidity and mortality as defined by the Centers for Disease Control (cdc.gov) and should consider these risks prior to accepting this position.
This is a temporary part-time position. Hours will vary but most importantly the Health Screener must be at the beginning of every shift. Shifts begin at 5:00am, 5:30am, 6:30am and 4:30pm.
The Health Screener will be screening employees at our Center Fresh Egg Farm and Sioux County Egg Farm locations (about 4 miles apart).
This will be a Monday-Sunday position about 25 hours a week.
Essential Job Functions
EDUCATION High School Diploma or GED
EXPERIENCE Previous healthcare experience a plus.
