We're seeking HVAC installers for multiple full-time positions with a rapidly growing New York area contractor.
About this Job:
We're looking for multiple HVAC installers (at least 5 years of commercial HVAC experience) for full-time positions with a rapidly growing New York area mechanical contractor. You'll be responsible for leading crews in completing efficient and quality installations, while improving methods and supervising and training employees as needed.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- At least 5 years of commercial mechanical experience
- Self-starter, punctual, professional, and inspires others
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Troubleshooting experience
- OSHA 10 minimum but OSHA 30 is a plus
- F60 / G60 Fire burn and torch preferred
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Accomplishes task objectives by orienting, training, assigning, and coaching employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions; recommending actions; adhering to policies and procedures
- Constructs mechanical ductwork and installs equipment by reading blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics
- Installs and Troubleshoots RTUs, VRFs, water cooled, air cooled, cooling towers, CRAC units
- Works with and has knowledge of refrigeration & mechanical piping
- Troubleshoots BMS and Control Systems wiring· Works skillfully with tools, duct materials and machines
- Completes production requirements by expediting work results; monitoring progress; resolving problems
- Maintains a safe work environment by following and enforcing standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations
- Creates and promotes a team-oriented atmosphere
- Accomplishes the organization mission by completing related results as needed
- Understands and follows all applicable codes
