We are seeking a JDA Functional Architect to join our proposal supporting DLA Logistics Analysis – DLA Aviation.

The task order will provide analytical, program, and project management support to DLA Aviation by providing support to the DLA Aviation Strategic Acquisition Directorate, Business

Process Support Directorate, Planning Process Directorate, and Industrial Support Activities

(ISAs).

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience as a JDA functional architect on a large-scale JDA supply chain implementation.

  • Provides architecture JDA technical and functional supply chain solution strategies for DoD logistics networks in demand and distribution planning, collaboration, inventory optimization, and reporting.

  • Provides functional direction with design, configuration, development, testing and training of JDA supply chain planning enterprise applications.

  • Provides technical direction of supply chain analysis to include business value mapping, organizational readiness and planning application configuration reviews.

  • Provides technical direction of the development of JDA supply chain solutions for DoD logistics networks in demand and distribution planning, collaboration, inventory optimization, and reporting.

  • Uses JDA Planning Suite to assist with planning, preparation, and simulation of DoD strategic, operational, and tactical supply chain impacts.

  • Assists with the reviews and validation of forecasting algorithms and configurations.

  • Provides technical direction of the design of KPI dashboards, metrics, and reports to enable client business objectives and priorities. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Senior Level: 8 years of DoD JDA experience

  • Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, Business, Applied Math, or related field.

  • Experience programming or developing statistical analyses with SAS, R, SPSS, or SQL,

    Microsoft Office.

  • Experience integrating a JDA Planning solution with an SAP Supply Chain and Financials system within the Federal Government.

  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC) at time of proposal submission.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 20+ years of directly related supply chain experience in Aerospace & Defense or related

Industry

  • 15+ years of experience implementing and configuring JDA software to support DLA’s

            unique combination of wholesale and retail planning strategies

  • 15+ years of experience supporting DLA Enterprise Business Systems (EBS) as a Supply

            Planning SME

  • 10+ years of in-depth experience with EBS, JDA, DLA data and analytic systems, and DLA Aviation business processes

  • Possesses experience providing senior leadership oversight of multiple projects of similar

            scale and complexity with DLA

  • MA/MS Degree from an accredited college or university. BA/BS Degree from an

accredited college or university + 10 years of directly related experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.
