Patient Flow Specialist - Nights - Columbia Campus

Bring your talents to New York’s #1-ranked hospital (U.S.News World Report), and drive the delivery of top-notch care for our patients.  Build excellent leadership and administrative skills while maintaining your clinical competency as you gain valuable exposure to the business side of nursing. Join a growing team responsible for collaborating with various disciplines throughout our hospital to coordinate the admission, transfer and discharge of our patients. Work in a state-of-the-art Patient Placement Operation Center to regularly review the status of patients and anticipated bed availability/requirements, and use the automated flow of data and real time patient information to effectively manage patient flow and throughput.

This position will work from 7:30pm to 8am.

Preferred Criteria

  • At least one year of bed coordination experience 

Required Criteria

  • At least three years of acute or critical care RN experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
  • Current New York State RN license (or willingness to obtain)
