Tenant Improvement – Commercial Sector

Position Preview
- Accurately prepare and coordinate the design utilizing Revit in house with the Interior Design team on tenant improvement, retail, restaurant, brewery and other commercial projects
- Performs original design work utilizing specifications, sketches and ideas for the project
- Perform space planning, FF&E with finish selections and renderings on various tenant improvement projects with concurring deadlines
- Design, plan and develop concepts to create design plans and technical documents based on project and client needs
- Assists in compiling data for design plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, etc.
- Assists in preparation for plans for existing buildings where plans are not available
- Provides support to Associate designer and additional team members on various projects
- Reviews drawings, specifications, cost estimates and construction material recommendations from clients and contractors to ensure adherence to contract and notifies team of discrepancies
- Follow production standards for the preparation and filing of documents
- Utilizes Revit knowledge to design and improve full design sets on projects
- Continues improving knowledge of Revit methods and techniques
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science or master’ s degree in Interior Design
- 6-10 YRs experience with tenant improvement projects (commercial sector)
- Proficient in REVIT
- Experience with FF&E on commercial projects
- Proficient in additional technology: SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Deadline oriented - possess interpersonal and time management skills
- Exhibit clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Highly organized
- Passion for technical design
- Licensed a plus but NOT required
- LEED certification a plus
