Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Issue certificates of insurance and evidences (renewals and midterm)
  • Issue endorsement binders to carriers or via carrier website
  • Prepare applications as needed
  • Prepare proposals, loss summaries and other spreadsheets
  • Send out applications to the marketplace
  • Request loss runs
  • Input/update policy information in Agency Management System
  • Follow up on policies, endorsements, etc. to carriers
  • Policy checking
  • Prepare online endorsement processing

Education and/or Experience:

  • High school diploma or the recognized equivalent, required
  • Minimum 2+ years insurance experience, required
  • P & C license, required

 

Technology Skills:

  • Agency management software experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

 

Additional Qualifications:

  • Able to work independently and enjoy a high degree of interaction with team members
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented, highly organized individual with the ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and use discretion
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude
