Job Description

Duration: 3-month

Pay Rate: 66/hr

You work with Localization Program Managers to understand tooling gaps and limitations for localization and with the Engineering and Devsite team to help implement them. This includes building PRDs, prioritizing the requirements, scheduling and managing feature releases, etc.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work with Localization PgMs to identify and evaluate technical gaps.
  • Create PRDs for tooling features.
  • Work with our team's engineering, other our client engineers, and our client Localization team to determine technical features & implementation processes, which may include onboarding and working with external agencies
  • Work with Engineering and Devsite to prioritize feature requirements, schedule and manage feature releases, etc.
  • Own and manage all localization-related technical projects, from inception to deployment.
  • Responsible for making schedules and tracking day-to-day project progress
  • Communicate milestones, status, and directional changes to stakeholders
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve i18n/L10n problems and issues.

Skill/Experience/Education

Mandatory

  • BS/MS degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 5-7 years of project management experience, with at least 3+ years of proven experience in i18n/L10n engineering.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully planning and managing fast-paced and larger-scale project implementations
  • Solid understanding of Object-Oriented design and programming concepts and ability to identify and apply design patterns into development projects.
  • Experience with Content Management systems
  • Strong understanding of a software development cycle and technical challenges that developers face.
  • Experience in working with global and cross-functional internal and external teams

Desired

  • Direct project experience managing cross functional technical teams
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative reasoning, problem solving, creativity and strategic skills
  • An excellent communicator of project requirements (experience with CMS project management and bug tracking tools)
  • Experience in developing tools for localization.
  • Experience with scoping and managing internationalization projects.
  • Ability to work in an extremely agile work environment and have fun
