Packaging - Entry level (LA) - Full-time / Part-time

                                                  Packaging Associate Entry Level           

  Basic duties of hourly position.

  There is a 90 day probation period

  Employees will be cross train while supporting production operation

Employees must work in and around automated manufacturing equipment

Employees must strictly adhere to attendance and time keep policy

Employees must perform and complete all assigned tasks as directed

Employees must understand and comply with all safety rules, regulations and policy

Employees must be proficient in utilizing all processes that lead to expected efficiency.

Employees must work at rapid and continuous pace

Employees must be able to work with other crew members and may be required to occasionally work independently with minimum supervision

Employees must be able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing

Employees must have basic computer skills

All employees are required to operate a computer using various safety and production orders

Employees must be able to stand for duration of 8-10 hour shift

Employees must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently throughout the day

Employees must be able to follow direction and be willing to ask questions to gain clarity if needed

Employees must demonstrate relationship skills and be able to work within a team contributing to a positive work environment and achieving individual and collective goals

Employees must demonstrate a consistent focus on working safely at all times and keeping those around you safe

Employees must maintain their work areas clean

Employees must take initiative to offer assistance during any idle times

As a packaging associate you will be part of the team that handles perishable product, packages it into various packaging materials such as jars, bags, boxes following all metrics and standard weights and measures set by company policy for shipment to customer  locations.

You will be expected to adhere to safety all the times, while working to meet daily production goals. You might be asked to perform other related tasks

Must demonstrate attention to detail

Must possess excellent organizational skills

Must be willing to submit to and pass a background and drug screen

Must be prepared and flexible for extended production hours

Must be flexible for weekend and evening hours depending on production orders and/or volume

Must be flexible to work overtime hours as needed

Schedule: Monday thru Friday 

Hours: 8am to 5 pm 

Comp LA Min +.40
