Currently, Smoothie King is seeking Regional Managers.
WHAT DO REGIONAL MANAGERS DO?
- Lead a group of managers
- Create a fulfilling and enjoyable work environment
- Ensure compliance with Smoothie King operational practices of all stores in their area
- Ensure each location runs efficiently, and complies with marketing and sales campaigns
- Assist teams in developing Guest brand loyalty and ensure locations are delivering superior Guest Service
- Monitor and manage the locations’ COGs and labor costs, as well as store level expenses
- Thoroughly review sales and expense performance, and apply sound logic in implementing corrective actions
- Recruit, identify, interview, hire, coordinate and discipline Store Managers
- Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of all areas
- Coordinate with and report to senior management in the company
REGIONAL MANAGER REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 2 years of multi-unit management experience required
- Must be able to work 50 hours per week
- Must have stamina to stand approximately 8 hours per day and lift products up to 55lbs
- Must have reliable transportation
- Leadership Skills: Must keep managers motivated, resolve conflicts and make hard decisions
- Time Management: Required to coordinate in-store visits, create schedules, recruit and hire, work off-site events, write reports, as well as many additional tasks that must be handled in an efficient and timely manner
- Math and Budgeting: Expected to keep and maintain a budget for the region, and make sure local stores are staying on budget as well
- Analytical Skills: Analytical skills are needed to solve problems that come up during a typical work day
- Decision-Making Skills: Will be making decisions that affect the company, so having the ability to make hard and fast decisions is crucial to success
- Speaking and Writing: Must be able to speak in front of a group of employees, or in a meeting with management; must be able to write reports, recommendations, or reprimands
