Carpet Cleaning Technician - Full-time / Part-time

CARPET CLEANING TECHNICIAN

Midwest Carpet Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a Carpet Cleaning Technician for our Ypsilanti, Michigan office. Our Carpet Cleaning Technicians utilizes patented advance cleaning technology without using soap or harsh chemicals, leaving our customers with high-quality environmentally clean carpets, tile and upholstery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide quality carpet, rug and upholstery cleaning and related services to customers
• Responsible for cleanliness and care of vehicles and equipment
• Productively and safely move furniture to prepare the home for cleaning
• Mix various cleaning solutions cleaning carpets and removing stains
• Use truck mounted and portable carpet extraction equipment
• Identify and report possible repairs
• Collect payments from residents
• Adhere to company on-call policy
• Follow all company policies and procedures regarding health and/or safety procedures
• Ability to utilize tablet and learn Workforce application

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience in the carpet cleaning industry
• Experienced with carpet cleaning tools and equipment
• Possess a valid driver’s license and pass a motor vehicle record check
• Pass a criminal background check
• Able to move and/or lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Able to prioritize and multitask
• Work well in a team-oriented environment

*RATE OF PAY BASED ON EXPERIENCE*

Schedule: Monday-Friday, weekends when needed and scheduled on-call
