Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic Program Evaluation Admin who is highly competent with data and a great communicator. The Program Evaluation Admin will have strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills to support all program leads; strong intuitive skills that leads them to always try to organize information and strong writing ability. S/he will compile and maintain accurate records and files regarding program activities and outcomes and will prepare periodic special statistical or narrative reports as required to support YR’s Media Education, Arts and Development team. This is a 30 hr position reporting to the Media Education and Youth Employment Director.

Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
  • Records, tracks and maintains program data using Apricot in reference to grant deliverables/compliance and program outcomes across departments
  • Supports the design and revision of data collection tools to yield statistically reliable and informative data
  • Performs basic analysis of survey data collected, sharing out when and where required or strategically advantageous
  • Assists the various program teams in data analysis to be used for program improvement, ensuring strong outcomes for youth participants, grant compliance, and fundraising efforts.
  • Ensures strong data management, making sure all incoming data is version-controlled and appropriately organized, and that our current stats are up-to-date
  • Implements small scale evaluation projects and literature reviews
  • Conducts one-on-one interviews and assessments with program participants and alumni 
  • Runs database queries, using advanced functions of Apricot
  • Records and Tracks media education youth hours and attendance 
  • Gathers and maintains all OFCY and Youth data and plug into the database. 
  • Miscellaneous duties as needed to support the delivery of excellent service

Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role and experience using Apricot
  • Strong attention to details and producing high quality outputs
  • Advanced Apricot and Microsoft Excel skills (V-lookup, advanced formulas, and pivot tables)
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills  with experience in data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Understanding of donor expectations and trends for monitoring and evaluation
  • Ability to clean and prep data required for all external reporting
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks of various scope and priority simultaneously
  • Experience in planning and managing surveys.
  • Experience developing and refining data collection tools.
  • Experience with data quality assessments and oversight.
  • Works well under pressure and/or with tight time deadlines
