Job Description
These positions are for the fall semester beginning in August 2020. Positions are available at all JWCC campuses: Quincy, Mt. Sterling, Perry Ag Center, and Pittsfield. Associate Faculty positions are non-tenure track, part-time, serving in a temporary or auxiliary capacity to teach specific courses on a course-by-course basis.
JWCC is seeking instructors with the following degrees to teach one or more courses in Developmental English and/or Rhetoric and Composition in face-to-face, dual enrollment or online classes.
- For Developmental English, a Bachelor's degree is required in English or related field, a Master's is preferred.
- For Rhetoric and Composition courses, a Master's degree in the discipline is required as determined by the Illinois Community College Board.
Experience is preferred.
