Job Description

Construction Manager/ Project Manager 
Our client, a full-service construction and development firm specializing in all phases of commercial construction, is seeking a highly experienced temporary Project Manager to supervise and manage all on-site activities for a large-scale restoration project in Sullivan County, NY. This project is estimated to last 10-11 months with the potential of there being two more phases which would add to the overall project duration.  

The Project Manager will lead the project from start to finish ensuring highest possible client satisfaction, superior quality work and exceptional safety standards with constant awareness of project schedule and cost controls. 

Qualified candidates should possess the following: 

  • Minimum of three years Project Management experience within the construction industry
  • Proficiency in reading and understanding plans, specs, schedules, scopes of work and budget provided
  • Self-motivated
  • Well organized and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with both oral and written communications and professionalism in daily communications with management, crew, clients, subcontractors, vendors, project stakeholders, and community partners
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in historic restoration is strongly preferred but not required
  • Clean driver license
  • Reliable transportation to get and from the office & job site
  • Working cell phone
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
Hours are M-F 7:30 am - 5 pm with 1/2 hour for lunch, but must be able to work additional hours if needed and an occasional Saturday
