Job Description
Rosenbaum & Taylor, P.C., a small White Plains civil litigation firm, seeks to add a Litigation Associate Attorney
The ideal candidate:
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the State of New York
- At least one year of litigation experience in New York
- Experience appearing for conference, drafting and arguing motions and taking and defending Examinations Before Trial
- Strong communication, problem-solving and organization skills
- A willingness to learn and develop as an attorney
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day handling of a litigation caseload
- Draft and argue motions
- Appear for court conferences
- Take and defend Examinations Before Trial
- Draft reports
- Prepare cases for trial
- Work closely with other associates and the Partner
- Maintain excellent client communication
