AutoCAD Drafter

Seeking AutoCAD Drafter near Salem, OR!

Environmental/civil consulting firm seeking civil drafter with AutoCAD experience. Responsible for communications system CAD drafting, and coordination with other engineering department personnel.

Job Duties:

• Draft new and revise existing, aerial and underground plant facilities based on field and design information provided
• Render detail drawings where required of MDU schematics, trenching details, road/bridge crossings, and design schematics
• Plan and schedule projects with other department engineers and drafters
• Read and interpret utility engineering drawings and plans to draft communications networks
• Perform quality control on drafting from contractors
• Communicate effectively on issues and correct and collaborate as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• Drafting Certificate or Associate's Degree is required
• Previous experience working in computer aided design, specifically AutoCAD
• MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and database proficiency
• Attention to detail is vital to success in this role
• Basic mathematical skills and calculation ability are required
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
