Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGiver's/PCT's/CNA's/HHA's to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
We service clients in North Oakland County: West Bloomfield, Waterford, Rochester, Pontiac, Oxford, Oakland, Lake Orion, Keego Harbor, Clarkston and Auburn Hills
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Assistance with grooming & bathing
- Assistance with toileting & incontinence
- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer's Care
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Ability to transfer a client using gait belt
- Ability to transfer a client using hoyer lift
- Transportation to appointment/errands

Requirements to be a CAREGiver:
- Ability to treat & care for seniors & their property with dignity & respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly & congenial manner
- Complete fingerprint criminal background check, DMV check & drug screen
- Possess a valid Michigan driver's license & valid auto insurance (with name on the policy listed as insured driver)
- Must be at least 19 years of age
Wages for this position are up to $12/hr.
